$609.14 INTO THE KITTY!

What's up Talafreakos!

A few months ago I had an idea that was too funny, relevant and irreverent to let pass by. So I made this website, threw some signs and shirts on it, and thought maybe a handful of people would get a kick out of it.

Instead, y'all went absolutely nuts.

 

That is, this TikTok racked up 25k+ likes, which is fortunately a metric my elder-millennial-ass can understand. It's been incredibly cool to see something that started as a one-man inside joke resonate with so many people.

I'm also happy to report that the first Team Talarico donation is officially in the books: $609.14 from 63 orders. Thank you to everyone who bought a sign, shirt, or otherwise supported this weird little project.

I especially appreciate it because this comes at a big transition point for me professionally. For the first time in my adult life, I'm not sucking on the corporate teat (or studying to do so). I have way too many irons in even more fires and am personally making about zero dollars, but IT FEELS DAMN GOOD to produce culture rather than help Bezos buy his next yacht. 

Take this as a sign to quit your job, uninstall everything, and/or to include something aggressively profane in your next IM with your boss. Something like "YOU CAN CIRCLE BACK ON DEEZ NUTS, ROBERT!"
